John Frederick Blennerhassett (b.1835 d.1904).
Hydraulic engineer 1870-1904, maker of Hydraulic Engines for Organs.
 Teacher of Organ Music 1881-1891
 
Proprietor of Blennerhasset's "West Central Organ Studio" and "West Central Organ School" at 1A & 1B Vernon Street, Kings Cross Road, Pentonville, London 1870-1904. Here he designed organ hydraulics, to be fitted to his own and to organs made by other manufacturers. He also sold organs and gave organ lessons. Sadly, this building has been demolished.
 
 
 
 
Nothing if not versatile, J.F.B. was also a Professional Photographer at two London locations.
 
He was Health Inspector for Clarkenwell and manufactured nitrous gas for medical use, his family delivering it to the London hospitals.
