Rosemary Melian Coleby, secretary of the Irish Genealogical Research Society, has compiled a family tree illustrating the descent of her unusual forename MELIAN from its first appearance in the Deane family of Bristol during the late 16th century. This interesting pedigree has two Blennerhassett connections. Refer to:
"Melian - an Unusual Name" ("The Irish Genealogist" vol.13 No.2, 2011)
Another version of this tree may be viewed here on Nick Reddan's website.
